The purpose of this blog is two-fold: 1, to meet my fellow collectors and trade a few cards, and 2, to brag about all of the amazing hardware I've been able to get my greedy little hands on.

Group Break Results Part 2: 2011-12 ITG Between the Pipes
After starting the group break off in a BIG way yesterday with an autographed 1/1 being pulled from 2007-08 Artifacts, let's keep the ball rolling with 2011-12 In the Game Between the Pipes. This is an all-goalie set from Canada's leading card manufacturer. Each box of BTP contains two autographs and two memorabilia cards from retired players, current players, and future NHLers. There are also inserts commemorating the 10th anniversary of the product line, as well as the popular Masked Men inserts, which spotlight the decorative masks of NHL goaltenders. Completed this set for my own collection, but the coolness of the concept and the potential for some GREAT hits brought me back for more.
(Note: I just now realized that despite advertising a box of 2010-11 BTP, I ended up ordering 2011-12. That was my mistake and I apologize for it.)
So, without further ado...
Here are the scans:
Christopher Gibson/Jonathan Quick Aspire Dual Jersey Silver Version, Dan Cloutier Decades Auto, Anton Khudobin Future Stars Auto, Ed Belfour Jersey Silver Version
Felix Potvin Masked Men Silver /90, Chris Mason Masked Men, James Riemer Masked Men, Terry Sawchuk 10th Anniversary, Jonathan Quick 10th Anniversary.
Another good box is in the books. No 1/1s on this one, but we'll try our luck again tomorrow with 2009-10 Upper Deck Artifacts.
Another great box! I'm now pretty happy that Toronto was my random team. :) Plus Richter and Lundqvist base cards?! I couldn't be happier. Here's hoping that the last box is epic!
Yeah, man. Those Masked Men cards are phenomenal. I love how the Richter card has a close up of his mask. His design is basic, but it's definitely one of my all-time favorites.

DeleteNice. Dig the dual relic.
ReplyDeleteI pulled a Ryan Miller out of a pack a few months ago. I love the concept of it.
