I purchased a redemption card for a Henrik Sedin autographed patch card off of Ebay a couple of months ago for no other reason than I got a great deal on it. For $12, I figured it was worth the risk either to get a great card, or have Panini exchange it for another great card.
Anyway, late last week, I got an automated e-mail from Panini telling me that after two months, this card was finally on its way.
The card is numbered 21/60 and features what appears to be the inside of the "3," either on the back of his sweater, or on the sleeves. The signature is gibberish, but that appears to be the way most athletes are going nowadays. Even though it's purely coincidence, I also like how the swatch matches the sweater work in the photo.
You know, the odd thing, is that even though it's a completely ridiculous and irrational thought, since they are twins, and both of their cards are redemptions, I had assumed that they would be sent back in at the exact same time and I would receive them simultaneously.
Weird.
I kinda wish I were more of a hockey fan because Panini sure knows what they're doing with hockey cards.
ReplyDeleteWowee, that's a beauty!
